DOUBLE DIAL SWINGING PENDULUM

France, circa 1825

Very decorative bi-metallic two-sided clock that swings gently by itself once rewinded.

Each side of the giant pendulum has a 28 cm (11") white enamel dial with Roman numerals, one-side with a sweep seconds the other with the rewinding axle. Both sides are driven by the same gear train and can either be set to indicate the same time zone or two different ones. The centre section of the clock is made in the manner of a gridiron pendulum of lyre form, with alternating brass and steel rods.

Peace of mind guaranteed : The movement of this clock will be fully overhauled in our workshop before delivery.
(This clock can also be purchased as is with price adjustment.)
