Fine quality French Empire Turquin marble eight day portico clock.

Two train movement, countwheel striking the hour and half-hour on a bell. Gridiron pendulum (temperature-compensated pendulum) on a knife edge suspension


Heavy marble case supported by four columns and mounted with mercury gilt bronze mounts. Dial made of finely incised mercury gilt bronze and an enamel disc with black roman numerals. Blued steel Breguet hands.


The enamel dial is signed "OURRY éleve de L.TAVERNIER"
